to the ELB link page to Trinity College London. Trinity provides spoken English examinations for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). These are a progressive series of twelve graded levels in spoken English examinations, taking students from their first steps in English to near first-language fluency.

The College is also a provider of ESOL Skills for Life qualifications which have been developed in support of the UK Government's Skills for Life initiative. These provide an assessment of ESOL and are designed around the standards for adult literacy and the ESOL Core Curriculum. They have been designed to reflect the use of the English Language in real life situations and are appropriate to the needs of a diverse group of UK based ESOL learners.
